I know, I know...
the promised updates are slow in coming, aren't they? I have now gotten all the pics loaded onto the computer so maybe I can make a little more progress now. Just to keep you baited, I plan to fill you in on my house progress, I have some great pics from Easter & the kid's egg hunt at Great Pa & Great Ma's house, Madison's birthday, & Aidan's birthday. The fun is just beginning! Oh, & one thing I forgot to tell you about the Race - I'm an official die hard runner because I lost a toe nail! I know that's gross but it's a rite of passage for runners (or so I'm told; really I'm just kinda worried about sandal season!). But as the t-shirt says, "toe nails are for wimps!"

Ewwww! Does it hurt a lot?
Congrats on losing the toenail! :)
hey friend-
i lost a toe nail while training for the chicago marathon and it was right before i was in a summer wedding :)
you can paint the skin and no one konws the differance.
looking forward to seeing pictures of your house.
Alicia - sorry to have grossed you out! It really didn't hurt much. It got sore & started to separate from my toe so I just kept trimming it until it was gone. It's pretty skin underneath but there is no sign of another nail. We'll see what happens but I don't think I'll post a pic ;-)
Sherry - thanks for the tip! I might have to lay aside my signature red for a while!
Are you getting settled? Moving is a big job. We're up to our ears in boxes and hoping the next couple weeks will go fast.

Hey Mary Ann!
Sorry you're toenail fell off. Leah has lost two. The nurse practitioner in our Dr.s office is a runner and she told us to paint the skin also. I did, and it really does work. So, don't sweat it! I'm proud of you. The only time I run if is someone tells me there's a sale at the mall! LOL
Okay, that sounds painful, but I'm happy for you! Does it normally grow back in? Weird question, but I'm curious.
