I've been doing a little snooping through the pics on my iphone.  There are a lot of them.  And since this iphone was Mike's before it was mine, it has a lot of his pics on it.  I just haven't bothered with looking through them & even if I did, I have this odd need to keep all the pics anyway.  It doesn't matter if it's a blurred pic of someone's ear, I don't want to get rid of it.  Thank goodness all of our pics are stored digitally!  Back in the day of actual photos you could hold in your hand I was always conflicted about what to do with the bad shots & the unwanted doubles.

Anyway, looking through the pics I found no less than 39 pics in an album labeled "Buell".  For those of you who don't know, Buell is a type of motorcycle.  About 12 years ago Mike bought a slightly used motorcycle (of the crotch rocket variety; sorry for the terminology but I don't know how else to describe it).  He had that bike until about a year ago.  In fact, one of our first pre-dating hanging out evenings he took me for a ride on his bike.  About 10 minutes into our ride it broke down.  This was the first of several largely unfixable problems that eventually led to the sale of the bike.  You would have cracked up if you could have heard our conversation on the shoulder of the road that night.
MIKE: I can't call my parents.  They don't have a truck to come get us & my mom would kill me anyway for letting you ride without a helmet.
PHARMGIRL: I can't call my parents either.  They have a truck but my dad will kill me if he finds out I've been on a motorcycle.
Please note that on the night in question we were both 30 years old.  And obviously still quite afraid of our parents.
Anyway, we got rescued that night by Mike's uncle, we fell in love, got married, & lived happily ever after.

I guess that I just didn't realize that Mike was still so into motorcycles.  Truthfully, I think it would be fun to have one.  Just not a crotch rocket or a really big one.  Buell's are mid-size & mid-price.

Pretty cool, huh?
I like the red accents.

Mike would totally choose the blue accents.
Do you think I could buy one of these with our tax return &
pull off the surprise of the century &
win Wife of the Year?
Yeah, me neither.
